dimanche, juin 27, 2004 From the Damian Domingo and Lavender fields collection Don't you just love crayons? the Crayola ones and not the ones that are actually just wax with a little color that the paper cant absorb. well, i finally got to use my 64-piece Crayola crayons and color the Damian Domingo Coloring Book that was Orangemoony going-away present (she was leaving.) Good thing she knew how difficult it is to find a good coloring book. thing is, my lavender crayon is coated with pink wax so i dont have a real pink crayon. my two other favorite crayola colors - periwinkle and thistle - are not as i remember their hues. weird, like they forgot to mix another shade, green i think. but coloring is really fun and stress-relieving (and an excuse to pass up the work i took home) but difficult when you're trying to use the same colors as in the original 19th century paintings. and with the tiny details?! it may take me a few more months before i even attempt the Amorsolo Coloring Book. its never to late to learn how to paint, even if you're trying to do it with crayons. buti nalang there are still good coloring books; they may be difficult to find but the fulfilment of finishing a good line drawing is rainbows away from finishing say barney, disney or blues clues coloring books which are mostly the ones available in my suking bookstore. # gtz | 5:04 AM | jeudi, juin 17, 2004 have you actually heard of someone backing off from a vacation because it's proving to be stressful? or, at least, it adds a level to my already high stress gauge reading. ang labo pero mukhang ganun na nga ang gagawin ko. this proves to be a very expensive lesson for me to learn that i am not supergirl. i may fly but i can't defy positive bouyancy just yet. i need to start getting healthy first. something that can only happen when i get enough sleep and i finish all my pending ah stuff. other lessons learned: 1. learn to say No sometimes. lalo pag nahihiya akong tumanggi. 2. prioritize properly. or wear blinders. big ones. 3. wag ipilit ang alam na hindi kakayanin in the first place. lesson yet to learn: pride. learn to lose a little. hehe. should have taken the required staff security and safety exam before deciding on this. not only would i have met the deadline for the certificate but it could have saved me a couple of grand. but no, bloody exam runs half a day instead of the two-hour thingy they said it was. ano ko, magtatagal ng hanggang 9pm para dun, lalot holiday nung friday. nek. at may klase pa ko nun. kaya ayun, lunes ko pa natutunan kung pano magbawas ng stress at ibat ibang klaseng stress. pati na rin tips sa pag travel, pagkain, rape, kidnapping, dangerous diseases, landmines, at war. at sana napigilan ang pag gastos ko. (nakakalito pero kahit paano, pumasa naman ako.) hay. san kaya ako sa november? at pano kaya ako makakatulog ng maayos lalot nasimulan kong basahin ang HP Order of the Phoenix. pero saka na comments ko dito. for now, di ako nagsisisi na di ko ito binili nuong nagkaka-gulo mga tao. ano ko hilo, e nabili ko yung HP 1-3 ko ng naka-sale dahil wala pang nakakakilala at walang gustong bumili. syempre paglabas ng HP 4, masa na sya. kaya ayun, laspag mga hardbound ko dahil sa hiraman. sige na nga, atlis madami akong kilalang natutong magbasa dahil dun. # gtz | 11:59 PM | jeudi, juin 10, 2004 may sakit ako, limang araw na, pero gusto kong gumala at mag swimming. wala sa budget ko ang gumastos, pero may parating naman. mapapatawad ang overspending. sana. wala naman akong birthday gift sa sarili ko, ni hindi nga ako gumala buong summer eh. wala akong oras. ni hindi ko nga magawa ang mga exercises sa french, kukuha pa ko ng bagong klase. pero di ko pa alam kung kelan ulit magkakaruon ng klase na maganda schedule eh. kailangan ko ng bakasyon, pwede na siguro ito. papatayin ako ni orangemoony. pero gusto ko talaga eh! hay. wala lang. gusto ko lang i-justify yung plano kong mag diving lessons this june. ang sarap ng holiday, kahit paano may panahon magpahinga kahit tambak ang ibang gawain. pero sa november na ulit ang susunod na holiday. asan na kaya ako nun? # gtz | 10:45 PM | |
